Due to the nature and the characteristics of the products we handle, please be on notice that the products may age naturally and variations exist in each product. This is especially true of natural woods, which vary in texture, color, wood grain, and exhibit subtle changes as they age. Natural urushi lacquer is also a material that varies in color by nature; it is well-known that the color will turn brighter and glossier with age, a phenomenon much celebrated by enthusiasts.

These variations are natural to our products. Though all efforts are made to achieve a reasonable color match during the manufacturing process, an exact match is neither implied nor guaranteed.

Please understand that our wood and lacquer products are handmade and hand-finished by craftsmen in craftsmen’s workshops or in traditional factories not in a modern factory, it is normal for there to be slight variations in each piece.
